TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATES

Hello skiers – sorry for the delayed post; Paul Bertler and I were away over the last four days doing the Canadian Ski Marathon west of Montreal in the Mont Tremblant/Montebello area.  After Saturday’s storm Rick and Russ rolled/packed the course but got badly stuck in a 4 foot snow drift.  Rick and Paul are returning tomorrow morning (Wed 2/11) to roll it again and then hopefully groom it to give it a good smooth, firm pack and lay down classic tracks, so while the skiing is passable now, it hopefully will be better tomorrow by noon.  I will post on Instagram at @greenhillnordicskipark once they finish and will also post updates here later as well.  Send questions to [email protected] and please donate on this website to support our efforts!  Thank you – Phil

New cross country trails at the Green Hill Park Golf course.

The Park Spirit of Worcester Nordic Ski Park was established in 2018 with funds from the Mass Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Recreational Trails Grant program.  Originally located at Elm Park and Newton Hill, for the 2025-2026 ski season operations were moved to Green Hill Park.  

The Ski Park provides a free wintertime recreational opportunity for both classic and skate skiing in a beautiful, historic public space and is the only groomed, public-access cross-country ski venue in Central Massachusetts.  

Trail grooming is done by Park Spirit volunteers and operating expenses are entirely funded by user donations.  We encourage skiers to donate $5-10 per use and appreciate the support of the Nordic skiing community that makes this possible.
