TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATES

Hello Skiers – Rick and Paul groomed today and report excellent conditions for skate and classic skiing.  We are supposed to get 1-2″ of snow Wednesday night and Rick may be able to groom again Thursday morning – I will let you know.  Please stay off the course if it rains until things firm up so as to avoid leaving ruts in the snow that then freeze.  Walkers please stay off the ski trails and clean up after your dogs if they do poop on the trails.  We will do our best to keep up with the grooming over the 5-day period of intermittent snow that starts tomorrow but it won’t be groomed every day.  Please donate on this website to support our operating expenses and send any questions or comments to [email protected].

New cross country trails at the Green Hill Park Golf course.

The Park Spirit of Worcester Nordic Ski Park was established in 2018 with funds from the Mass Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Recreational Trails Grant program.  Originally located at Elm Park and Newton Hill, for the 2025-2026 ski season operations were moved to Green Hill Park.  

The Ski Park provides a free wintertime recreational opportunity for both classic and skate skiing in a beautiful, historic public space and is the only groomed, public-access cross-country ski venue in Central Massachusetts.  

Trail grooming is done by Park Spirit volunteers and operating expenses are entirely funded by user donations.  We encourage skiers to donate $5-10 per use and appreciate the support of the Nordic skiing community that makes this possible.
