I am thrilled to share with you that through your generosity we raised $12,275 from 36 pledges, which when added to the $2,840 folks donated during the ski season, brings us to $15,115.  That is enough for the $12,500 snow cat plus $2,615 towards a storage container.  The container will likely run about $4,000 when delivered, so if you know anyone else who would like to donate, please forward this email to them.  You may send in your pledged donation through our website or by check.  The website may be easier, but GiveButter takes a 4% cut, so you can either increase your pledge by 4% or send what you pledged and we’ll get 96% of that.  If you can’t remember what you pledged, I can send you the amount.

To pay online: Go to About Park Spirit – Park Spirit Worcester , enter the amount, hit <continue> and then check Nordic Ski Park box.   If you want your tax donation receipt sent to a different email than this one, please enter that into the comments section below where you enter the amount.

To pay by check:  You can either mail a check to Park Spirit of Worcester, PO Box 20088, Worcester, MA 01602, or drop it off at my house, 2 Chalmers Rd. Worcester MA 01602.  Checks should be made payable to Park Spirit of Worcester; please write “Nordic Ski Park” on the comments line.    If you want your tax donation receipt sent to a different email than this one, please include a note in the envelope.

I am so proud of us, the XC ski community of Central MA and beyond, that we were able to come together to make this happen.  I hope that our investment will not only bring better trail conditions for years to come but will help further promote the community-building we saw in the first year of the Nordic Ski Park.  Be sure to spread the word to your XC friends so that we can increase usage and support to keep this venture going strong.
